This spring students in grades 7-12 visited the town of Telapa on the pacific coast of Guatemala, where they completed various hands on activities in both science and math. Students visited a local sea turtle sanctuary, tied math to swimming pool construction, and learned about evolution while completing field observations on boat rides through the mangroves.
