7th-10th grade students have started learning about engineering in a first-of-its-kind class at AMA. Students are learning about materials selection, reliability and testing, and bridge and building design principles, along the way involving many aspects of physics, chemistry and mathematics. Later in the course students will have the opportunity to construct and test scale models of bridges!
